She was the cherished daughter of Ralph Palmer and Jannie Montgomery, both of whom instilled in her the values of love, resilience, and community. Glenda devoted her life to nurturing her family and her community, a testament to her boundless compassion and unwavering work ethic. Throughout her career, she touched countless lives through her work as a cook and her dedication to maintaining the warmth and sanctity of homes and churches. Her hands crafted meals that nourished the body and her spirit enriched all those who had the privilege of knowing her. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Jannie Montgomery; her cherished daughters, Marchere Johnson and Tamica Alfred; her dear son, Myron Flowers; and her maternal and paternal grandparents. The memories they shared will forever remain etched in the hearts of those left behind. She is survived by her loving daughter, DaJa Flowers; her steadfast son, Jamar Alford; her caring stepdaughter, Tanquetra Spears; and her supportive stepson, Joseph Flowers Jr. Her sister, Geneva Blake, and brother, James Palmer, along with a host of adoring nieces and nephews, will continue to celebrate her life through their shared memories and love.
