Glenda passed away on June 2, 2026, at the hospital, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter that will forever be remembered by her family and friends. Born on March 3, 1965, in Shreveport, Louisiana, Glenda was a beacon of light from the very beginning. Raised by her loving parents, Argentina and Nathaniel, she grew into a woman of immense strength and compassion. She attended Woodlawn High School, where she cultivated her love for learning and developed the vibrant personality that would endear her to so many. Glenda was a woman of simple joys and deep passions. She had a talent for bringing sparkle into the everyday, whether she was cleaning, skating, singing, or dancing. Her home was a sanctuary filled with music and laughter, a testament to her zest for life. Known for her ever-present smile, Glenda’s joyous spirit was contagious, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. Family was the cornerstone of Glenda’s life. She was predeceased by her beloved grandson, mother, grandmother, brother, sister, and nephew, whose memories she cherished deeply. Glenda is survived by her three devoted children, who were the lights of her life; her five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, each of whom she adored and who brought her endless pride and joy. She also leaves behind two brothers and three sisters, as well as a special friend who was a constant support and companion. The bonds of family extended far and wide for Glenda, encompassing a host of nieces, nephews, aunties, and uncles, all of whom were touched by her generosity and nurturing spirit. Her family was her greatest achievement, and her legacy lives on in the love and unity she inspired among them. As we say goodbye to Glenda, we remember the light she brought into the world and the joy she shared so freely. Her life was a beautiful tapestry woven with threads of love, laughter, and resilience. Though she has left this earthly realm, her spirit remains with us, a guiding force and a reminder of the beauty in everyday moments. A celebration of Glenda's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor the remarkable woman she was. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Glenda’s name to a charity of your choice, as a tribute to her generous heart and enduring spirit. Rest in peace, dear Glenda. You will be forever missed but never forgotten. Your spirit dances on in our hearts, and your legacy of love will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know you.
