Glen (Buddy)

April 30, 1957 — October 1, 2026

Glen "Buddy" Allin, a beloved member of the New Hampshire community, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2026, at the age of 69 due to congestive heart failure. Born on April 30, 1957, in Lancaster, NH, Buddy was the cherished son of Joan Grattage and Glen Allin. He was predeceased by his parents and his dear sister, Wendy McKinnon of North Haverhill, NH. Buddy was a man of many talents and interests, remembered fondly by all who knew him as "Uncle Bud." He graduated from White Mountain Regional High School in Whitefield, NH, in 1976, marking the beginning of a life filled with hard work, dedication, and love for his community. His career spanned several notable positions, including service at the New Hampshire Highway Department in Jefferson, NPC Inc. in Milford, GE in Hooksett, and the State of NH Court. He also contributed his skills to Aubin/Granite State Hardware in Pinardville, NH. A man of the outdoors, Buddy found great joy in hunting and fishing, passions that allowed him to appreciate the beauty of nature. He was often seen riding his Harley, tending to his garden, or feeding the birds. His gentle spirit extended to all creatures, even to a skunk that amusingly took a liking to his motorcycle. Buddy's man cave was a sanctuary where he relished time with family and friends. Buddy's generous heart and infectious humor endeared him to many. He leaves behind his devoted fiancé, Debra Fridley of Manchester, NH, and his loving children, sons Jason Carignan and Randy Carignan of Manchester, NH, and daughter Kari Fridley of Pickerington, OH. His legacy lives on in his cherished grandson, Evan Dandeneau of Pickerington, OH. He is also survived by his sisters, Amber Curtis of Manchester, NH, and Joanie Curtis of Bow, NH; sister-in-law, Diane Turner; brother-in-laws, Peter Richardson, Jim McKinnon, and Kevin Curtis; and cousins, Clayton, Charles, and Wayne Frenette, whom he affectionately called brothers. He will be missed by his nieces, Melinda Emerson, Lorelei Tordiglione, and Katie Curtis; nephew, Adam Cloutier and their families, as well as The Wheeler Family. Buddy's life was enriched by the companionship of his loyal pups, Gunner and BJ, and countless friends who became family. His warmth and kindness left an indelible mark on everyone he met. In remembrance of Buddy, donations may be made in his memory to a charity of your choice. His family takes comfort in knowing that his spirit will continue to bring joy and laughter to those who hold him dear. Buddy's legacy of love and friendship will forever be cherished by all who were fortunate to have known him.
