It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Gisele Annette Dubois, who passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Gisele was born on January 23, 1960, in the close-knit community of St. Claude, Manitoba, to loving parents Matthieu and Yvonne Gagne, who have predeceased her. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her devoted husband, Ronald Dubois, with whom she shared a loving marriage of 45 years. Their union was blessed at the Precious Blood Church in St. Boniface, a suburb of Winnipeg, on July 8, 1978. Together, they nurtured a warm and loving home for their four children, Angele, Daniel, Philippe (Sabrina), and Julien (Amy), who brought immense joy and pride into her life. Her heart also overflowed with love for her grandson Samuel, who was her shining star. Gisele is also survived by her dear siblings, sisters Liliane, Marilyn, and Diane, and brothers Donald, Roland, and her cherished twin, Marcel. She was a beloved aunt, sister-in-law, and friend to many, whose lives she touched with her kindness and generosity. Gisele’s journey of education began at Precious Blood School in Winnipeg, where she excelled and honed her remarkable typing skills. With an impressive accuracy of 96%, she was highly sought after for her expertise. Her professional journey led her to the Canada Revenue Agency, where she worked earnestly as a clerk typist. Her dedication to family saw her pause her career to raise her children, an endeavor she pursued with boundless love and grace. After twelve years, she returned to work in data entry at CRA, where she remained a valued colleague until her retirement in 2024. Family was the cornerstone of Gisele’s life, and her passions reflected this devotion. She embraced the role of a stay-at-home mom with wholehearted dedication, ensuring her children grew up in a nurturing environment filled with love and support. Her retirement years were spent joyfully tending to her garden, immersing herself in captivating novels, and creating beautiful knitted pieces. Above all, her greatest joy was spending time with her family, creating memories that will forever be cherished. A service to honor and celebrate Gisele’s life will be held at Desjardin Funeral Chapel, located at 357 Des Meurons St, Winnipeg, Manitoba. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society in her name, a testament to her enduring love for all creatures great and small. Gisele Annette Dubois will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, a devoted sister, and a steadfast friend. Her warmth, compassion, and generosity left an indelible mark on all who knew her. While our hearts ache with her loss, we find solace in the beautiful memories she leaves behind, and in the knowledge that her spirit will guide us always. In loving memory of Gisele A Dubois, may her soul rest in eternal peace.
