It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gina Spevacek, a remarkable soul who touched the lives of many. Gina left this world on June 27, 2026, at the age of 57, after a hard terrifying battle with Stage 4 Endometrial Cancer where it spreaded through her body, excruciating amount of pain . Born on February 20, 1969, in West Covina, Gina was a beacon of strength and compassion, known for her indomitable spirit and the warmth she shared with everyone she met.
Gina was the cherished daughter of Vicky and the late Charles Spevacek. She was preceded in death by her beloved father and dear sister, Tina. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her devoted daughter, Miranda Spevacek, her mother Vicky, and her four siblings: two sisters and two brothers. Gina’s family was her pride and joy, and she was further blessed with three precious grandchildren Aniya , Amiya, & Lamont Jr who brought immense happiness into her life.
Gina's life was a testament to resilience and generosity. She spent nearly 40 years with her partner, Charles Stewart, building a life filled with laughter and love. A graduate of Garey High School, Gina was a true hustler, known for her entrepreneurial spirit and a keen eye for antiques. Her strong personality and big heart were a source of comfort and joy to all who knew her.
Her humor, warmth, and loving nature made her a beloved friend and confidant. Gina's door was always open, and her home was a haven of hospitality, where everyone felt welcomed and cherished.
A celebration of Gina’s life will be held on July 11, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Bonelli Park. Friends and family are invited to gather to honor her life and to share memories of a woman who brought so much joy to those around her.
Though she is no longer with us, Gina’s spirit lives on in the hearts of those she loved. Her legacy of kindness and strength will continue to inspire and uplift those who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in peace, comforted by the knowledge that her life was one of profound impact and infinite love.
