December 11, 1962 — June 13, 2026

It is with profound sadness and deep love that we announce the passing of Gina Spaulding, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. Born on December 11, 1962, in New Smyrna Beach, Gina left this world on June 13, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 63 years old. Gina was the cherished daughter of Frank Arnett and the late Morine Arnett. She was married to her devoted husband, Scott Spaulding, for 40 wonderful years. Together, they built a beautiful life, raising two loving children, Adam and Summer. Her legacy continues through her children and her adored granddaughters, McKenzie Burkett and Emery Swilley. A graduate of Baker County High School, Gina went on to work for Publix, where she dedicated over 13 years of service. Her retirement years were spent volunteering at various state and city parks, where she continued to spread her warmth and generosity. In her community, Gina was an active member of the New Cross Creek Baptist Church, serving as both Mission Director and Vacation Bible School Director. Her faith in God and her service to others was a guiding light to everyone who knew her. Gina had a zest for life that was evident in everything she did. She found immense joy in fishing and sewing, and her passion for crafting knew no bounds. Traveling and camping with Scott were among her favorite adventures, and together they explored many beautiful places. Known for her radiant smile and open heart, Gina never met a stranger—only friends she hadn't yet made. Her loving personality was an inspiration to all, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. Gina is survived by her loving husband, Scott; her father, Frank Arnett; her sisters, Pamela Barton and Gail Roling; her brother, Eugene Arnett; her dear aunt, Nancy Clifton; her treasured children, Adam Spaulding and Summer Swilley, along with her son-in-law, Mike Swilley. She is also survived by her granddaughters, McKenzie and Emery, and her lifelong friend, Kathy Byler. Gina was predeceased by her beloved mother, Morine Arnett.
