June 12, 1957 — April 18, 2026

With heavy hearts and profound love, we announce the peaceful passing of Gerard N. Kerouac on April 18, 2026, at the age of 68. Jerry, as he was affectionately known, left this world surrounded by his cherished family at his home after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's. His journey began on June 12, 1957, in Nashua, New Hampshire, born to his loving parents Alfred and Racheal Kerouac. Throughout his life, Jerry exemplified strength, humor, and an unwavering dedication to his family and friends. He was predeceased by his beloved parents, sister Lucie Giard, and son Patrick Kerouac, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms on his next journey. He is survived by his devoted wife, Paula Kay Kerouac, whose love and companionship were the bedrock of his happiness. The couple married on October 17, 2015, and shared a life full of laughter, love, and mutual support. Jerry is also survived by his cherished brother, Richard Kerouac, his devoted son, Thomas Kerouac, and daughter-in-law Karissa, who blessed him with two beautiful granddaughters, Natahlia and Alana. Jerry's family extended through love to include Paula's daughters, Amanda Fiebig, Sara Mae Baylor, and Leander Motos, along with their husbands and children. A proud graduate of Nashua High School in 1975, Jerry embarked on a career that saw him traverse the country as a dedicated Tractor Trailer driver. His professional journey also included running a successful livery service and culminating his career at Momentum Manufacturing. His work ethos was matched only by his love for community and sports. An avid Boston sports fan, Jerry was often found on the basketball court or golf course. His passion for soccer was evident in his years of coaching his sons' teams, and he was a constant presence at his granddaughters' games, always cheering the loudest. Jerry's quick wit and playful sarcasm were as much a part of him as his role as a steadfast father, brother, loving Pépère, and loyal friend. He was actively involved in local running clubs, where his enthusiasm and camaraderie inspired many. In celebrating Jerry's life, we invite family and friends to join us on April 25, 2026, at 4:00 PM at Michaud Funeral Home, located at 32 Maple St, Wilton, NH 03086. As we gather to honor his life, we remember the constant love and support he offered to those around him. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Home Healthcare Hospice and Community Services for their compassionate care during Jerry's final days. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations in Jerry's memory to organizations supporting Alzheimer's research and patient care. Jerry's legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering support will forever be cherished in the hearts of all who knew him. As we say goodbye, we take comfort in the memories that will remain with us always, and the indelible mark he has left on our lives.
