Geraldine Williams

July 19, 1926 — June 15, 2026

Geraldine Williams Obituary In loving memory of Geraldine Williams, who passed away peacefully on June 15, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Louisiana, Geraldine lived a life filled with grace, love, and unwavering faith. She was the beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Jean Williams and has now joined them in eternal rest, alongside her cherished children, Kevin Williams and Sandra Lane. Geraldine's legacy is carried forward by her devoted son, Tracy Williams, her godson, Chris Price, and her daughter, LaSandra Price, as well as her six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, who will continue to draw inspiration from her strength and kindness. In 1939, Geraldine entered into a lifelong partnership with her beloved husband, the late Herald Lee. Together, they built a foundation of love and support that endured the test of time. A proud graduate of Booker T. Washington in 1943, Geraldine embarked on a successful career in the banking industry, where she served as a teller at Bank of America. Her dedication to her work was matched only by her commitment to her community and her faith. Geraldine was a devoted Sunday School teacher, sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with all who would listen. Even while residing in an assisted living facility in her later years, she continued to uplift others by conducting one-on-one Bible studies with fellow residents. Her candid nature and ability to "tell it like it is" endeared her to many, often accompanied by a warm hug and a reassuring smile. Cooking was one of Geraldine's greatest joys, and her kitchen was a place of warmth and learning. She delighted in teaching others the art of culinary creation, passing down recipes and traditions that will be cherished for generations. Above all, Geraldine was a God-fearing woman whose faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions and inspiring all who knew her. The family of Geraldine Williams would like to extend their deepest gratitude to everyone who has shown love and support during this difficult time. Your kind words, floral tributes, and thoughtful gestures have been a source of comfort and strength. In honor of Geraldine's life and her courageous fight against breast cancer, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to a breast cancer research organization or a charity of your choice. A private funeral ceremony will be held to celebrate Geraldine's remarkable life, her enduring spirit, and the love she so generously shared with all who knew her. May her memory be a blessing and a source of comfort to all who were fortunate enough to be touched by her presence.
