Born on January 4, 1936, in the heart of Iowa, Georgia was the beloved daughter of the late Hannah and George Eekoff. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and her youngest daughter, leaving behind a legacy filled with love, strength, and resilience.
Georgia’s life was a tapestry of rich experiences and cherished memories. She was a woman of immense strength and a sweet, charming personality that touched everyone she met. Her family was the center of her world, and she found immense joy in her role as a devoted mother to her surviving children, Greg, Brenda, Ricky, and Randy. Her love and wisdom extended to her 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life and whom she adored beyond measure.
A woman of many talents, Georgia had a passion for teaching Sunday school, where she inspired and nurtured young minds with kindness and patience. Her love for crocheting was evident in the beautiful creations she lovingly crafted, each stitch a testament to her artistry and attention to detail. Georgia also found joy in the simple pleasures of coloring, where she expressed her creativity and calmness, and dancing, where she radiated an infectious energy and zest for life.
Georgia’s strong will and charming demeanor left an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her life was a testament to resilience and grace, and she will be remembered for her unwavering spirit and the warmth she brought into every room. Her legacy will live on in the countless lives she touched, and her memory will be cherished by her family and friends forever.
