Celebrating the Life of Georgia Ann Moore It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of Georgia Ann Moore, who left us peacefully at her home on March 9, 2026, after a courageous battle with illness. Born on December 12, 1944, Georgia was a beacon of warmth and kindness throughout her 81 years, leaving an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. Georgia was the cherished daughter of John and Mary Moore, who predeceased her, alongside her beloved sister, Gloria Ann Moore. Despite these early losses, Georgia's spirit remained unbroken, fortified by her deep faith and the love of her family. She is survived by her devoted children, Patricia Ann Moore and Jerome Moore, who were the pride and joy of her life. Her legacy continues through her 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, who will carry forward her values, her laughter, and her limitless love. For 35 years, Georgia dedicated her life to caring for others as a nurse, retiring in 2012. Her compassionate nature and dedication to her profession left a lasting impression on her colleagues and patients alike. She was not only a healer in her professional life but also a nurturing presence for her family, always ensuring that every gathering was filled with love and, of course, her delicious cooking, which was as much a part of family traditions as the gatherings themselves. Georgia was an active and beloved member of the Faith Evangelistic Praise and Worship Center, where she led the youth choir with a voice that inspired many. Her commitment to her community was unwavering; she volunteered weekly at the church’s community center, offering her time and talents to those in need. Known for her wit and wonderful personality, Georgia had an extraordinary gift for friendship. Her warmth, humor, and generous spirit endeared her to many and built a community of friends who will miss her dearly. A service to honor Georgia's life will be held on March 22, 2026, at 11:30 AM at St. Margaret’s Church, located at 7351 SW 17th St. We invite all who knew and loved Georgia to join us in celebrating her beautiful life—a life lived with grace, kindness, and an abundance of love. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered their support and condolences. Your presence and shared memories are a comfort in this difficult time, and we are grateful to have you join us in celebrating the life of our beloved Georgia Ann Moore.
