Georgette "Gigi" Geralde, a cherished daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on September 20, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and warmth. Born on November 4, 1960, in the quaint town of Tolleson, Arizona, Gigi was the beloved daughter of John and Mary Geralde, who have predeceased her. Raised in a nurturing environment, Gigi embodied the values of kindness, devotion, and introspection. Her life was a testament to her quiet strength and gentle spirit. Though shy and reserved to those she first met, Gigi had a vibrant personality that shone brightly once you got to know her. She was a beacon of joy, known for her love of dance and her adventurous spirit, which took her to many places around the globe. Professionally, Gigi spent the majority of her career in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, where she built a life filled with beautiful memories and meaningful connections. In 2023, she returned to her roots, retiring in the warm embrace of Arizona, a place she always called home. A devoted Christian, Gigi found solace and inspiration in her faith. Her bookshelf was a testament to this, filled with volumes on love and faith, which she cherished deeply. Her love for animals was equally profound; her home was a sanctuary for her beloved cats, who were her constant companions. Gigi is survived by her loving sister, Mona Smith, who shares in the sorrow of her passing but also in the joy of the countless cherished memories they created together. In accordance with her wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor her life. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in her memory, celebrating her life by spreading kindness and compassion to those in need. Gigi's departure leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her, but her spirit will continue to inspire and uplift all who had the privilege to be part of her life. She will be dearly missed, yet her love and legacy will forever remain in our hearts.
