George was a beacon of strength and resilience, whose presence will be sorely missed by all who knew him. George was the cherished son of the late George Hodge and Winnie Mae (Dunn) Hodge, whose loving guidance shaped him into the remarkable man he became. He was predeceased by his parents, and beloved sister in law, Terry Hodge and now joins them in eternal rest, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion. A proud graduate of Van Buren High School, George's thirst for knowledge knew no bounds. His love for technology and computers earned him the affectionate title of "complete computer geek" among family and friends, a nod to his remarkable aptitude and enthusiasm for the field. His career was a testament to his dedication and passion, and he was always eager to lend a helping hand to anyone in need of his expertise. George served his country with honor as a member of the army, embodying the true spirit of selflessness and patriotism. His service was a reflection of his unwavering commitment to the principles he held dear, and he carried these values with him throughout his life. He is survived by his loving siblings, Jean Parks (Ray), Betty Burkhart (Eugene Morse), Robert Hodge (Karen), Glenda Moses (Kevin), and John Hodge. George also leaves behind a host of adoring nieces, nephews, great-nieces, nephews, great-great-nieces, and nephews who will forever cherish the memories they shared with their beloved uncle.
