Born on June 16, 1968, in Forrest City, Arkansas, George was the adored son of the late George Vernon Davis Sr. and Annabelle Forrester Davis. He was nurtured by a loving family and community, which shaped him into the compassionate and generous man he became. George's formative years were spent in Cross County, where he attended Hickory Ridge Elementary and graduated from Cross County High School. George's love for gardening was a cherished bond he shared with his father, George Sr., and it became a lifelong hobby that brought him peace and joy. His garden was a testament to his patience and dedication, qualities that were evident in every aspect of his life. Fishing trips with family and friends were another source of happiness for George, creating memories that will be treasured by all who had the privilege to join him.
A devoted family man, George is survived by his three loving sisters: Jeanette Davis Rogers of Russellville, Marsha Davis and her husband Randy of Delaware, and Robbie Hicks of New Blaine. He also leaves behind a brother, Michael Davis, and his wife Amy. George's legacy of love and laughter lives on in his many nieces and nephews, as well as cherished aunts, uncles, and a host of friends who will miss his warm presence dearly.
Preceding George in death are his beloved parents, George Vernon Davis Sr. and Annabelle Forrester Davis, along with his maternal grandparents, Robert Forrester and Margaret Payton Forrester, and paternal grandparents, Albert Davis and Rosa Sides Davis. Their spirits undoubtedly welcomed him home with open arms.
