George was born on December 29, 1960, in Peoria, Illinois, to Patricia and George Bowman Sr., who instilled in him the values of kindness, humility, and unwavering dedication to family. George was a beloved figure to all who knew him. He had an extraordinary ability to touch the lives of those around him with his warmth and generosity. A devoted husband, George shared a beautiful marriage with his beloved wife, Belinda, whom he wed on June 8, 2004. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and shared dreams, creating a home where family and friends always felt welcome. A man whose heart knew no bounds, George was a proud father to a large, loving family, including Megan, Will, Joe, Antony, Frank, Victoria, Michael, Matthew, Anna, and Isaac. Each of his children holds treasured memories of his guidance, wisdom, and unconditional support. George's legacy extends to his 22 grandchildren, who were the lights of his life and who will carry forward his spirit of kindness and compassion. George's life was marked by his dedication to his family and community. A man of many talents, he was known for his ability to fix anything, his love of storytelling, and his infectious laughter, which brought joy to all who had the privilege of knowing him. His presence at family gatherings was a source of strength and joy, and his wisdom was a beacon of light for those seeking guidance.
