Born on August 29, 1944, in Seligman, Arizona, George's life was a testament to hard work, dedication, and a deep love for his family and the great outdoors. George was the cherished son of Lavonne Quasula and was predeceased by his mother, his brother Gary Gonzales, and his sister Diane Marshall. He is survived by his devoted wife, Donna, and his sons, Robert and Ethaniel, whom he loved dearly. His legacy continues through his beloved granddaughters, Caitlyn and Ruby, who brought immense joy and pride to his life. A proud graduate of Seligman High School, George furthered his education at Oklahoma State Tech. He honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1966 to 1970, embodying the values of bravery and service that would define much of his life. George's career as a finished carpenter showcased his exceptional skill and attention to detail. Beyond his professional work, he was a passionate silversmith, creating beautiful pieces that reflected his artistic spirit. His hands, steady and skilled, crafted not only objects but also warm memories for those who knew him. Deeply connected to nature, George found solace and joy in fishing and hunting. He cherished his time "out in the country," where he felt most at peace. His love for the land and its beauty was a constant source of inspiration and happiness. George Bennett will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his remarkable talents, and his generous spirit.
