George Mortimer Hutton, a man of enduring strength, warmth, and humor, whose laughter and kindness filled every room he entered passed away on August 17, 2026, at the age of 83, after a courageous battle with illness at the Mountainview Hospital. Born on March 29, 1943, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, George was the beloved son of George Hutton Sr. and Sidella Hutton (Keeys). He is predeceased by his cherished parents, his brothers Walter and Rif Hutton, and his son-in-law Kenneth Clinton. George is survived by his devoted wife, Teombe Hutton, with whom he found love anew after the heartbreaking loss of his wife, Joyce, to cancer. Together, George and Teombe built a life filled with love and laughter. George was a proud veteran, having served with honor in the United States Air Force. His dedication to his country was unwavering, and he spent over 30 years in service, including time as a Vietnam Veteran, his dedication to duty and his country was a testament to his character and integrity. before retiring. Following his military career, George continued to serve others through his work in several hospitals in Las Vegas, where he was known for his professionalism and compassion. His colleagues and patients alike were touched by his genuine care for others. A man of many interests, George found joy in reading books, crafting corny jokes, and watching old movies. His enthusiasm for basketball season was matched only by his love of visiting the cinema. Known for his quick wit and warm smile, George had a unique gift for making everyone feel welcomed and valued. His kindness and generosity touched countless lives, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him. George leaves behind his loving wife Teombe, they created a beautiful life filled with love and shared experiences. His children, Sharon, Mondre, and Kelley Hutton; Kenyatta and Tekembe Antonio; his grandchildren, Derrick Hutton-Kinsey and Jorge Hutton; Kyendra and Andreas Jones; Taiwan Jones; DeAngelo, Panameno and Zael Antonio; his great-grandchildren, Parker Kinsey; Andre, Aunesty, and Ayana Jones; Maleia, Matteo and Kahleo Jones. He is also survived by his siblings, Mark Hutton, Elizabeth Hutton, and Jeannette (Kyle) Hutton-Pugh, Sister-in love Bridget Hutton; nieces and nephews also Special friends Catherine Houseworth, Bobby, and Greene who will forever cherish his memory. His family and friends will gather to celebrate his remarkable life on September 8, 2026, at 4:00 PM at the Hoops Food & Spirits 4224 N. Pecos Rd North Las Vegas, NV 89115. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in George's memory to a charity of choice, reflecting his generous spirit and commitment to helping others. George Mortimer Hutton will be remembered not only for the life he led but for the love and laughter he shared with those around him. His legacy of kindness and humor will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
