November 1, 1984 — February 21, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of George Lloyd Jr., a beloved son, uncle, and friend, who left this world peacefully at home on February 21, 2026. Born on November 1, 1984, in Bridgeton, New Jersey, George was a cherished member of his community and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
George was the beloved son of Marlene D. Lloyd and the late George Lloyd Sr. He is also predeceased by his dear sisters, Kathy Lloyd Gasper and Marlene Sanchez. Though his family has endured much loss, they find solace in the love that remains and the memories they cherish. George is survived by his devoted mother, Marlene, and his several nieces and nephews, who will forever hold his spirit in their hearts.
A graduate of Vineland High School, class of 2003, George was a proud alumnus who carried his school spirit throughout his life. He dedicated many years of his career to working as a mechanic at Johnny's Atlantic Service in Fairfield Township, where he was known not only for his skill with cars but for his kindness and willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
George was a proud member of the Nanticoke Lenape Tribe of Bridgeton, where he embraced his heritage and contributed to the community with dedication and pride. He found great joy and peace in the simple pleasures of life, spending his free time fishing, hunting, and working on cars. His love for working with his hands was evident in everything he did, and he found fulfillment in creating and repairing, knowing that his efforts made a difference in the lives of others.
Though George's life was far too short, it was filled with love, laughter, and the warmth of family and friends. His gentle smile and generous spirit will be remembered by all who had the privilege to know him. He taught us the value of hard work, the importance of community, and the strength found in family bonds.
A private funeral ceremony will be held to honor George's memory, as he wished for a quiet farewell surrounded by those closest to him. The family appreciates the outpouring of support and love from friends and community members during this difficult time.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor George's memory are invited to make a donation to a charity of their choice, reflecting the generous and giving nature that George embodied throughout his life.
As we say goodbye to George, we remember a man who lived with integrity, loved with his whole heart, and left an indelible mark on the lives he touched. May his spirit find eternal peace and may we all find comfort in the legacy of love and strength he leaves behind.
