August 14, 1943 — April 27, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of George L. Fozman, a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, who peacefully departed this world on April 27, 2026, at the age of 82. George was born on August 14, 1943, in New Brunswick, New Jersey, to the late Steven and Mary Fozman. He was a man whose spirit and laughter resonated with everyone he met. In February of 1964, George found his soulmate in Patricia "Pat" Fozman. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, adventure, and family. Their union was blessed with four wonderful children: daughter Sue Bisbee, along with her husband Steve Bisbee; daughter Trisha Fozman and her husband, Carlos Castillo Cane; daughter Michelle Fozman and her husband Bryan Price; and son Michael Fozman. George and Pat also delighted in the joys of grandparenthood, cherishing their time with Christopher Bisbee, Tyler Bisbee, and Renee Morris. Recently, George experienced the profound joy of welcoming his great-grandson, Leander Bisbee, into the world. Family was at the core of George's existence, and he was predeceased by his dear parents, Steven and Mary Fozman, his brother Steve Fozman, and his beloved wife Pat, whom he adored beyond words. Despite the profound loss, George continued to find strength and joy in his children and cherished every moment spent with them. George was a man of many passions. From a young age, he developed a love for the outdoors, becoming an avid fisherman and hunter. He found peace in nature, whether casting a line into a quiet river or tracking game through the woods. His garden was a testament to his nurturing spirit, where he spent countless hours tending to his prized tomatoes and hot peppers. This love for the earth and its gifts was a legacy he shared with family and friends, often sharing his bountiful harvests with all who visited. A man with an infectious smile and a heart full of laughter, George was known for his humor and friendliness. He had an uncanny ability to make anyone feel at ease, always ready with a joke or a story to lighten any room. His presence was magnetic, and he truly was the life of the party, finding joy and friendship in every encounter. George's love for meeting new people was evident in his long-standing memberships at the Moose Lodge and the Glen Gardner VFW, where he made countless friends and lasting memories before moving to Florida. George's life was a tapestry of love, laughter, and kindness. He leaves behind a legacy of joy that will continue to inspire all who knew him. As we remember George, let us celebrate the life of a man who brought warmth and happiness to so many lives. A celebration of George's life will be held at a future date, where stories will be shared, laughter will echo, and his spirit will live on in the hearts of everyone gathered. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in George's name to a charity of your choice, honoring his generous and loving spirit. Rest in peace, dear George. May your laughter continue to echo through the lives of those you touched.
