A devoted member of the Baptist church, George found great joy in his faith and community. His hobbies were as diverse as they were fulfilling; he was a passionate fisherman, a skilled chess player, and a loving grandfather who cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren. George's love for his family was boundless, and he took immense pride in his role as a grandfather to 12 grandchildren and a great-grandfather to 20 great-grandchildren. George was predeceased by his beloved family members Maria, Layla, Melissa, Tia, and George Jr. He is survived by his dear daughter, Melissa Pelosky, who carries forward his spirit and values. Those who knew George remember him as a man with a warm heart and a generous soul. He was more than just a great human being; he was a beacon of hope and joy, inspiring those around him with his kindness and unwavering support. A private funeral service will be held on July 24, 2026, to honor George's life and the indelible impact he made on all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in George's memory to the American Heart Association, an organization close to his heart. The American Heart Association is located in Dallas, Texas, and carries the mission of improving heart health and reducing the impact of cardiovascular disease.
