GEORGE ALLAN LAMOTHE

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of George Allan Lamothe, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, who left us on August 2, 2026. Born on September 17, 1956, in Littleton, New Hampshire, George's life was a testament to love, laughter, and the joy of connection. George was the cherished son of the late Robert Lamothe and Shirley (Pierrier) Hare, and he was also predeceased by his devoted stepfather, Douglas Hare, his stepmother, Carol (Heath) Lamothe, and his brothers, John and Gary Lamothe. Though he has now joined them, George's legacy continues through the lives he touched and the family he adored. He is survived by his loving wife, Judy (Cole) Lamothe, with whom he shared a beautiful marriage since May 2005, when they wed in Manchester, NH. Together, they built a happy life for their blended family, filled with love and laughter. George was a proud father to his daughter, Mandy Rajaniemi, and a devoted stepfather to Timothy and Scott Nalette. His presence will be deeply missed by his sister, PJ (Jean) Lamothe, and his brother, Jim Lamothe. George took immense pride in his grandsons, Brett (Katrina) and Zach Rajaniemi, and his great-grandsons, Xavier and Zander Rajaniemi, who will carry forward his spirit and values. A graduate of Hillsboro Deering High School, George embarked on a career that showcased his dedication and diverse talents. His journey began at Livingston's Auto Repair during his high school years, where he nurtured his passion for auto and snowmobile repairs. He later became a supervisor at GTE Sylvania in Hillsboro, NH, and eventually ventured into entrepreneurship with Pine Ridge Landscaping. In 1998, George moved to Connecticut, where he continued to excel in his field, working for Scott Pools and later retiring from Eastern Water Solutions in Oxford, CT. George was a lifelong member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1091 and the American Legion in Hillsboro, NH. These affiliations reflected his deep commitment to community and camaraderie. His adventurous spirit was evident in his love for snowmobile riding and racing with his own Huskie Sled team in New Hampshire. A man of many talents, George also had a green thumb, cultivating vibrant vegetable gardens and flowering plants that brought beauty and joy to those around him. Known for his quick wit, humor, and ability to forge lasting friendships, George was a people person through and through. He was always ready with a helping hand or a kind word, embodying the essence of a loving family man and a steadfast friend. The family of George A. Lamothe extends their heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers, staff, and doctors at Mass General Brigham's Hospital in Dover, NH, and Boston, MA, who provided unwavering support and compassion during George's courageous battle. To honor George's memory, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice. His spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
