He shared a remarkable 50-year marriage with his beloved wife Karen, who predeceased him in 2024. Together, they built a family that stands as a testament to their love and commitment. Gene is survived by his four cherished children: daughters Lisa, Tina, and Sara, and son Christopher. His legacy continues to thrive in the laughter and joy of his 13 grandchildren, who will forever carry forward his stories and love. A man of service and dedication, Gene proudly served in the United States Navy for 20 years, including two tours in Vietnam.
