It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Genario “Geri” Ruby Wynn, who left this world peacefully on May 11, 2026, at the age of 74, after a courageous battle with esophageal cancer. Geri’s journey began in the vibrant city of Baltimore, Maryland, where she was born on June 29, 1951, to loving parents Wilbur Driver and Helen Driver (née Nash).
Geri was a beacon of love, compassion, and resilience, qualities instilled in her by her parents, whom she cherished deeply and who preceded her in death. She was also predeceased by her beloved husband, Arthur “Buddy” Wynn Jr, with whom she shared innumerable joyful memories and a profound bond that remained unbroken by time or distance.
Geri’s legacy is one of warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family. She is survived by her children, who were the light of her life and to whom she imparted her values of empathy, strength, and perseverance. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family to her five grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart. A private service celebrating Geri’s life will be held for her family. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Geri’s memory to cancer research organizations, a cause she held close to her heart.
