Gemma Indelicato, a cherished soul who touched the lives of many with her warmth and selflessness, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2026, surrounded by her closest family. Born on August 10, 1941, in Brooklyn, New York, Gemma was the beloved daughter of Angelo and Marie Fiorello. Gemma’s life was a testament to love and devotion. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, Anthony Indelicato, with whom she shared many beautiful years of marriage. Together, they built a life centered around family and love, values that Gemma continued to uphold throughout her life. A nurturing and loving mother, Gemma is survived by her children, Lisa Minelli, her husband Mario Minelli, Anthony Indelicato and his wife Joanne Indelicato. She was also a proud and devoted grandmother to four wonderful grandchildren: Paul Minelli, his wife Kyrsten Minelli, Gabriella Minelli, Anthony Indelicato, and Nikki Indelicato. Her legacy of love extends to her two great-grandchildren, Ella Minelli and Mario Minelli, who brought her immense joy and laughter. Gemma's life was filled with simple pleasures and the joy of being surrounded by loved ones. Her greatest passion was her family, and she dedicated her life to ensuring their happiness and well-being. She had a knack for bringing people together, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere wherever she went. Her family was her pride, and her home was always open, filled with love, and laughter While we mourn the loss of Gemma, we also celebrate a life well-lived. Her loving spirit, gentle nature, and unwavering commitment to her family will be forever cherished and remembered by those fortunate enough to have known her. Gemma Indelicato's legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and her spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her. Services are as follows: The wake will be from 4:00 to 9:00 pm on Friday 8/7/26 at John Vincent Scalia Funeral Home, 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10312 The Mass will be at 9:30 am at St. Sylvester Roman Catholic Church, 856 Targee St, Staten Island, NY 10304
