Gary Lee Rodarmel

Gary Lee Rodarmel, a cherished brother, friend, and dedicated public servant, peacefully left this world on August 5, 2026, after a long, debilitating illness. Born on May 5, 1946, in the beautiful city of Honolulu, Gary's life was marked by service, kindness, and unwavering loyalty to those he loved. Gary was the beloved son of Ray Clifford Rodarmel and Dorothy Arlene deHarne, who have predeceased him, along with his brother Curtis and his treasured wife, Jacqueline Darlene Fraker. Throughout his life, Gary was a devoted family man, and his memory will be lovingly carried forward by his surviving brother, Keith, and sister-in-law, Marlene, as well as their extended family. Gary was also deeply grateful for the enduring friendship of Mark McConnell and his wife, Leslie, who stood by him with love and support through life's challenges. A proud veteran, Gary served his country with honor in the United States Marine Corps. His commitment to duty was exemplary, and even after receiving an Honorable Discharge in 1972 due to a service-related injury, he continued to embody the values of courage and integrity that defined his military career. Following his service, Gary channeled his dedication to community into his work as a Dispatcher for VIA in Boulder, Colorado. His colleagues knew him as a man of reliability and grace under pressure, always ready with a helping hand or a kind word. Although Gary did not have grandchildren or great-grandchildren, he took immense pride in the lives of those around him and found joy in their achievements and happiness. A memorial service to honor Gary's life will be held on September 21, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Fort Logan, located at 3698 S Sheridan Blvd, Denver, CO 80236. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Gary are invited to join in celebrating a life well-lived. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, in memory of Gary's generous spirit and his commitment to making the world a better place. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Coal Creek Acute Care and Fort Logan National Cemetery for their compassionate care and services. A special thank you goes to Mark and Leslie McConnell for their unwavering support and friendship during this difficult time. Gary Lee Rodarmel will be remembered as a man of strength, honor, and profound love. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.
