GARRETT ALLEN DECKER

September 7, 1957 — February 17, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Garrett Allen Decker, who departed this world on February 17, 2026, at the age of 68. Born on September 7, 1957, in Warren County, Pennsylvania, Garrett was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, whose warmth and humor left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him. Garrett was the cherished son of the late Beatrice J. (Allio) and Henry A. Decker. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Karen Sue Cameron, and his nephew, Jeff Ditty, both of whom he held dear in his heart. Garrett is survived by his devoted wife, Becky Decker, who stood by his side with unwavering love and support. Together, they built a nurturing and joyful family that Garrett treasured deeply. He leaves behind his two sons, Brian (married to Kyndwyn) and Chad (married to Jen), as well as his beloved bonus daughters, Rachel (married to Zac) and Ashley (married to Tyler). His legacy lives on through his eight grandchildren: Wyatt, Brayden, Tessa, Mattie, Owen, Miles, Evangeline, and Charlotte, each of whom brought immense joy and pride to their adoring grandfather. Garrett's siblings, brother James (married to Bobbi Jo) and sister Arlene Stoyer, will fondly remember him for his kindness and infectious laughter. His Texas nieces and nephews, Steph (married to Eric), Joe (married to Kelly), Jimmy (married to Heather), and Cassie, along with their children, were a source of endless joy and delight for him. Garrett also maintained cherished friendships with his longtime Pennsylvania friends, Bill Caven and John Poth, who shared many adventures and stories with him over the years. An avid outdoorsman, Garrett found solace and joy in yearly hunting trips in western Pennsylvania and on serene fishing excursions. Garrett's love for family extended into his hobbies, where family dinners and board games in Texas were some of his favorite activities, always filled with laughter and camaraderie. Garrett's passing due to kidney and heart failure has left a void in the hearts of those who knew him. Yet, his memory will live on in the stories, laughter, and love that he shared with his family and friends. A private ceremony will honor Garrett's life, in keeping with his and his family's wishes. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Garrett's memory, as a testament to his giving spirit and love for helping others. Garrett Allen Decker was a man whose love for life, family, and friends left a profound and lasting impact. He will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
