Gale Price

May 18, 1955 — October 20, 2026

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Gale Price, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who departed this life on October 20, 2026, surrounded by her loving family at her home. Gale was born on May 18, 1955, in Ft. Worth, Texas, to Sylvia and Spencer Richardson, who preceded her in death, as did her brother Spencer Richardson Jr. Gale was a woman of immense warmth and generosity, known for her servant heart and unwavering dedication to her family, faith, and community. She was a beacon of light and compassion, always offering a helping hand and a kind word to those in need. Her life was a testament to the power of love and faith, as she devoted herself to full-time ministry for an impressive 50 years at Living Word Harvest. Her commitment to her faith and community was deeply admired, especially her active involvement in the hospitality committee, where she left a lasting impact. Gale's journey began at Spruce High School, where she graduated in 1974. Her professional life included various roles throughout the years, but it was in 2011 that she found her true calling and turned her life over to the Lord. From that moment on, she dedicated herself entirely to the ministry, touching countless lives with her spiritual guidance and heartfelt compassion. On August 26, 2012, Gale married the love of her life, Hunter Price, in Dallas, Texas, where they shared 12 beautiful years of marriage. Her family was the center of her world, and she cherished her role as a mother to her daughters, Tasha Brinkley (and her partner Donald Hickman) and Tara Brinkley. She was the proud grandmother of eight adoring grandchildren: Devondrick, Xaiver, Jeremy, Demareon, Paris, Marcus, and Deliverance, who were her greatest joy. Gale is survived by her devoted husband, Hunter, her loving children and grandchildren, her siblings Greg Richardson, Charles Richardson, and Pamela Dixon, and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. A celebration of Gale's life will be held on October 30, 2026, at Living Word Harvest of Dallas, located at 2429 Randolph St, Dallas, TX 75241. The service will also be available via livestream for those who cannot attend in person. In honor of Gale’s generous spirit, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice. Gale’s memory will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her life was a beautiful example of faith, love, and selflessness, and she will be dearly missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family of Gale Price welcomes donations to a charity, nonprofit, church, or organization of your choosing.
