She graduated from Redford High School in 1958, where she formed lifelong friendships and cultivated a love for learning that she carried throughout her life. Her career as a secretary at American Motors Corporation not only showcased her diligence and professionalism but also her ability to bring a touch of joy and humor to those she worked with. On November 20, 1982, Gail married the love of her life, Michael Ellison, in a beautiful ceremony in Plymouth, Michigan. Her passion for painting and jewelry making brought her immense joy and were a source of inspiration to those around her. Her artworks, full of vibrant colors and intricate designs, reflected her vibrant spirit and keen eye for beauty. Shopping was another of her cherished pastimes, a hobby she enjoyed not just for the treasures she found, but for the time spent with loved ones. Family was Gail’s cornerstone. She is survived by her adored children, her brother Thomas Hatch, and her cherished grandchildren Darcy McBroom, Darren Blach, Tiffany Updike, Tony Updike, Brandon Updike, Stephen Updike, Jordan Updike, Ryan Updike, Amelia Dame, and Mitchell Dame.
