Gabriella "Gabi" Lupe Munoz July 26, 2006 - July 9, 2026 It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gabriella "Gabi" Lupe Munoz, who left this world on July 9, 2026, just shy of her 20th birthday. Gabi was born on July 26, 2006, in Katy, Texas to loving parents Brandon and Jennifer Munoz. Her bright spirit and infectious smile touched the lives of everyone she met. Gabi was a beloved daughter, a caring sister to Noah and Isabella, and a cherished granddaughter to Lupe Munoz, Jr., and Albert and Dolores Escamilla. She shared a special bond with her aunts and uncles, Albert and Jennifer Escamilla, and Paul and Audra Escamilla, along with her many cousins who adored her. Her family also included her loyal pets, Daisy and Hazel, who were always by her side. A proud graduate of Obra D. Tompkins High School in 2024, Gabi was a dedicated student at Livingstone College, where she was passionately pursuing her education. Her commitment to academics was matched by her dedication to athletics, particularly softball, through which she inspired her teammates with her spirit and determination. Gabi's faith was the cornerstone of her life. An active member of her church's youth group ministries, she found joy in studying her bible and living by her faith in God. Her strong beliefs guided her actions and interactions, leaving a lasting impact on those around her. Her creativity knew no bounds, often expressed through her love for crafts. Gabi had a zest for life that was evident in her love for hiking, beach trips with her sister and friends, and her fondness for country music. She was an avid reader and cherished spending time with her friends and family, creating memories that will be treasured forever. Gabi's life will be celebrated with a service on July 17, 2026, at 11:30 AM at St. Bartholomew the Apostle Catholic Church, located at 5356 11th St, Katy, TX 77493. Her family invites all who knew her to join in honoring her life and the joy she brought to the world. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Gabi's memory to the Epilepsy Foundation Of Texas, an organization close to her heart. Her legacy will continue to shine through the lives she touched and the love she shared. Though Gabi's time with us was far too short, her light will continue to illuminate our hearts. We find comfort in knowing that she is reunited with her beloved grandmother, Luper Munoz, in eternal peace. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
