September 11, 2001 — June 6, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Gabby Simon, who left us too soon on June 6, 2026, at the tender age of 24. Born on September 11, 2001, in the serene town of Wellesley, Gabby brought a unique light into the world that was cherished by those close to her. Gabby attended Wellesley High School, where she graduated with the class of 2029. Though her path through life was marked by challenges, Gabby faced them with a quiet resilience and a distinctive sense of humor that endeared her to friends and family alike. Her life, though brief, was filled with moments that reflected her deep connections to her family and her heritage. Gabby was a devoted member of her community, engaging in activities and traditions that celebrated her Jewish roots. Her interests in these cultural and religious practices were a significant part of her identity, offering her a sense of belonging and purpose. Gabby is survived by her loving parents, her devoted sister, and a family that will forever cherish her memory. Though her journey was not without struggle, her family remembers her for the love she gave and the unique spirit she shared with those around her. While Gabby faced personal battles, her struggles do not define the totality of her life. Those who knew her will remember her for the laughter she brought, the warmth she shared, and the moments of joy she created. Gabby's story is a reminder of the importance of compassion and understanding, of recognizing the unseen battles others may face, and of holding close those we love. In honoring Gabby's life, her family has chosen to hold a private ceremony, allowing for an intimate farewell that respects her memory and the privacy of those who mourn her passing. They wish to convey a heartfelt message: "Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we hope Gabby has found peace and is now in a place of comfort." As we remember Gabby, let us do so with kindness and empathy, carrying forward her spirit in our hearts and actions. May her memory be a blessing to all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those wishing to honor Gabby's memory consider acts of kindness and support for mental health awareness, in the hope of providing help and hope to others in need.
