OBITUARY Born on January 4, 1965, Frenchelle Turner lived a life defined by kindness, resilience, and devotion to her passions and loved ones. At a young age, she began her walk with the Lord at Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church. After a courageous battle with illness, she is now at peace. Frenchelle’s education reflected both excellence and a pioneering spirit. She served as President of the Health Occupations Service Association and was a member of the first graduating class of B.F. Terry High School in 1983. During those formative years, her love for music and performance shone through as she earned honors in the school band and proudly danced with the award-winning B.F. Terry Rangerettes. Her passion for serving others led her to Texas Woman’s University, where she pursued nursing, and later to Texas Southern University, where she studied healthcare administration. These academic pursuits reflected her deep commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Even while facing serious health challenges near the end of her college years, Frenchelle earned her certification in religious studies. Beyond her academic and professional accomplishments, Frenchelle was a warm, generous soul who found joy in life’s simple pleasures. Her laughter, kindness, and compassion touched everyone blessed to know her. Her gentle spirit and steadfast support brought comfort to family and friends, leaving a lasting legacy of love. As we say goodbye to our beloved daughter, aunt, niece, cousin, friend, and inspiration, we cherish the memories of her vibrant spirit and the lasting mark she made on all who knew her. Rest in peace, dear Frenchelle. You will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
