Fred leaves behind a loving family, including his devoted wife Shirley, daughters Lisa Ellis and Raneen Berg, son Fred Parker, and ten adoring grandchildren who brought immense joy to his life. Fred and Shirley's love story began under a street light on James St and Ludington Ave, a moment that led to a lifetime of shared memories. Married on October 11, 1962, at the tender age of 16, their bond was an unbreakable one, rooted in mutual respect and support. Throughout his career, Fred was known as a dedicated molder at the local foundry and a talented mechanic, roles that showcased his unwavering work ethic and expertise. However, it was his passions outside of work that truly defined him. A cowboy at heart, Fred had a deep love for music, often entertaining family and friends with his guitar. He was an enthusiastic fisherman, a skilled hunter, and a gardener with a green thumb, who took immense pride in being a steward of his land. His adventurous spirit was epitomized by his love for Harley riding, a pastime that brought him both freedom and joy. Fred was a man of many talents and traits.
