In Loving Memory

Fraser Elliot Martin
April 20, 1990 — March 8, 2026
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our dear son Fraser Elliot Martin, who left this world on March 7, 2026, at the age of 35. Born on April 19, 1990, in Brantford, Fraser was a beacon of warmth and kindness, touching the lives of all who knew him. He was the beloved son of Nancy (Ma) Frazer Airdrie and Patrick (Pat) Martin, and the cherished stepson of Francine Aubin Theriault.
Fraser's life was a tapestry woven with love and laughter, stitched together by his deep connections with family and friends. He was predeceased by his stepfather, Irvin (Irv) Airdrie, his grandparents, Douglas Frazer, Margaret and Raymond LeClair, Mary Virginia and Elliot Martin and Irvin Airdrie Senior. His aunt Kathy Martin, auntie Christine Audit, stepbrother Eric Theriault, and cousin Christopher Airdrie. Though they had gone before him, their love and shared memories remained ever present in Fraser's heart.
He is survived by his loving brother Kieran Barton, his adored Baba, Lynda Frazer, his treasured girlfriend, Rikki Adamson, his stepbrother David Theriault and stepsisters Teela and Kristen Airdrie. Fraser is also survived by many, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and innumerable friends and colleagues, all of whom will miss his quirky smile and infectious laugh.
Fraser had a profound love for the written word, often losing himself in the pages of his favorite books, reading them time and time again. Summers at the cottage, fishing on the lake, and lazy afternoons spent napping in the hammock were among his greatest joys. These passions reflected his introspective nature and his appreciation for life's simple, yet profound pleasures.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the incredible staff at the ICU of Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital in Burlington. Their unwavering dedication and compassionate care during Fraser's final days provided immense comfort to him and his loved ones.
A celebration of Fraser's life will be held on April 11, 2026 at Wellington Square United Church from 1 pm. until 4 pm. The church is located at 2121 Caroline Street in BurIngton. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to thrombosiscanada.ca in Fraser's name, continuing his legacy of kindness and generosity.
He will be remembered for his wit, self deprecating humour and his ability to brighten any room with his presence. Although he is no longer here with us in body, his spirit lives on in the hearts and memories of those who loved him.
