It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Frank Marrufo, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, who departed this life on October 16, 2026, at the age of 86. Born on July 21, 1940, in the sunlit city of Phoenix, Arizona, Frank was a beacon of warmth and kindness to all who had the privilege of knowing him. Frank was the cherished son of Isabel Carrillo and Frank Marrufo Sr., who instilled in him the values of hard work, compassion, and integrity that guided him throughout his life. He carried these values into his own family, raising two wonderful children, Frank Marrufo the 3rd and Brenda Marrufo, with his characteristic love and dedication. A man of profound generosity and boundless love, Frank's influence extended far beyond his immediate family. He was the proud grandfather to 20 grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in his heart. His legacy of love, laughter, and kindness lives on in each of them, as well as in the many lives he touched throughout his journey. Frank's life was a tapestry woven with rich experiences, deep connections, and a passion for living fully and authentically. Although he faced the challenge of renal failure with courage and grace, his spirit remained unyieldingly vibrant and hopeful. The family finds solace in the memories of the times shared and the love that Frank so freely gave. They invite friends and loved ones to join in celebrating his life on October 22, 2026, at 5:57 PM at Downing & Lahey. Wichita Kansas. It will be a time to honor Frank's memory, share stories, and revel in the enduring impact he made on this world. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Frank's memory, continuing his legacy of generosity and care. Frank Marrufo will be remembered as a man of great heart and spirit, whose legacy will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to know and love him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
