Frank Kulaga, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully at his home on April 19, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on November 3, 1946, in Macomb County, Michigan, Frank was blessed with 79 wonderful years filled with love, laughter, and a passion for life's simple pleasures.
Frank was the treasured son of Frank and Margaret Kulaga, who instilled in him a strong work ethic and a deep sense of integrity. Frank honored their legacy throughout his life, both in his personal endeavors and professional achievements. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, who now welcome him into God's embrace.
For 47 years, Frank devoted himself to a career as an engineer at LNM Tool, where he was known not only for his expertise and dedication but also for his kindness and mentorship to colleagues. His retirement six years ago marked the beginning of a peaceful journey filled with relaxation and the pursuit of his many interests.
Frank's heart was always drawn to the great outdoors, where he found solace and joy in the art of fishing and hunting. These activities were more than hobbies; they were a testament to his appreciation for nature's beauty and the tranquility it provided him. As he embraced his senior years, Frank discovered a new passion for painting, capturing the vivid landscapes he so dearly loved.
Family was at the core of Frank's life. He is survived by his two devoted sons, Frank Kulaga Jr., 69, and Michael Kulaga, 64, who carry forward his legacy of strength and compassion. His memory will forever be cherished by his five grandchildren: Tabitha Walton, 52, Barbara Walton, 42, Melissa Walton, 37, Connie Walton, 27, and Frank Kulaga II, 44, as well as his ten great-grandchildren, each a testament to the enduring love and joy he brought into their lives.
A private ceremony will be held to honor Frank's life, as he wished for an intimate farewell surrounded by those he held closest to his heart. Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort in knowing that Frank now rests peacefully, embraced by the love of his family and the grace of God.
Frank's legacy will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew him. His strength, kindness, and unwavering spirit will continue to inspire us all. In the words of those who cherished him, "Boy, oh boy, did he love life," and it is in this love that he will always be remembered.
