August 27, 1936 – May 19, 2026 It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Frank Keller, a cherished father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, on May 19, 2026, at the age of 89. Surrounded by love and family, Frank left this world as he lived in it—peacefully and with grace. Born on August 27, 1936, in the close-knit community of St. Matthews, South Carolina, Frank was the youngest child of Thomas and Bernice Keller. From an early age, Frank demonstrated a strong sense of responsibility and dedication, qualities that remained with him throughout his life. The youngest of three children, Frank was preceded in death by his loving parents, brother, sister, and many dear family members and friends who have gone before him. Frank’s life was a testament to hard work and devotion. He began his career driving trucks in the South, delivering bibles and working tirelessly for JAWD and the Dun Rite Moving Company in New York City. Frank took great pride in his work, providing for his large family and ensuring their needs were met. His professional journey was marked by dedication and perseverance, reflecting his steadfast commitment to those he loved. A man of faith and heart, Frank’s warmth was felt by everyone he met. His gentle spirit, wisdom, and sense of humor endeared him to family and friends alike. Those fortunate enough to know him will remember his thoughtful advice and the joy he brought to every gathering. His legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will continue to inspire all whose lives he touched. Frank’s family was his greatest joy. He leaves behind a large and loving family, including his 14 children: Leonard Hoffman, Vanessa Hoffman, Bernard Keller, Shirley Keller-Pinckney, Diana Keller-Abdullah, Michael Keller, Priscilla Keller, Francine Keller-NDiaye, Kareem Paige, Candice Paige, Janice Paige-Wells, Derrick Paige, Timothy Paige, and Mark Paige. His legacy also extends to 33 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren, each of whom carries forward his spirit of resilience and compassion. A celebration of Frank’s life will be held on June 4, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at The Rivers Tabernacle Prayer House, located at 401 E161 Street (corner of Melrose Ave.), Bronx, New York 10451. Following the service, Frank will be laid to rest at Rosehill Cemetery in Linden, NJ, with a repast afterward at The Rivers Tabernacle Prayer House. Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we are eternally grateful for the years we shared with Frank and for the abundance of love he gave so freely. As we honor his memory, we find comfort in knowing that he is welcomed with open arms by those who have passed before him. Frank Keller's life was a remarkable journey of dedication and love, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him.
