It is with heavy hearts, yet profound gratitude for a life well-lived, that we announce the passing of Frank Eugene Jones, who passed away peacefully on February 7, 2026, at the age of 87. Born on September 11, 1938, in the serene town of Oswego, New York, Frank was the beloved son of Clarence and Eldora Jones. Frank was a man whose life was a testament to the power of love, family, and commitment. Throughout his years, he embodied the spirit of kindness and demonstrated an unwavering dedication to those he cherished. He was a beacon of light and strength for his family, and his legacy will continue to thrive in the hearts of those who knew him. Frank was predeceased by his loving parents, Clarence and Eldora, as well as siblings Wesley, Clarence (Sonny), Rita Carr, and Bessie Fisher. He also endured the heartbreaking loss of his cherished granddaughter, Cassie Jean Jones. In the face of these profound losses, Frank remained resilient, drawing strength from his enduring faith and the love of his family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Susan Jones, who stood by his side through the many seasons of their life together. His love lives on in his children: son Frank Jones, son Christopher (Cimberly) Jones, and daughter Patricia Jones, who were blessed to have learned from his wisdom and experience. His six grandchildren—Brian Jones, Drew Jennings, Jake Jones, Jessie Jennings, Nicole Jones, and Monique Jones—were the joy of his later years, each one a testament to the loving family environment he cultivated. Frank also welcomed the next generation with open arms, leaving cherished memories for his great-grandchild, Luka Lamphere. Frank's life was a tapestry of love, laughter, and learning. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was a quiet walk in the Oswego countryside, a spirited game of cards with friends, or a Sunday afternoon spent surrounded by his family. He had a natural ability to connect with people, always offering a listening ear or a helping hand to those in need. His legacy is one of compassion, strength, and unwavering devotion to his family. The warmth of his spirit and the depth of his love will forever be remembered by those fortunate enough to have known him. Although he has left this earthly realm, his spirit lives on in the hearts and minds of his loved ones. The family will be holding a private memorial service to honor Frank's life and the love he shared with so many. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice in Frank's memory, as a testament to his generous spirit and commitment to helping others. Frank Eugene Jones will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love will endure, reminding us all of the beauty found in a life well-lived. Rest in peace, dear Frank. Your journey has touched our lives in ways we will cherish forever.
