January 2, 1931 — May 17, 2026
It is with a mixture of profound sadness and heartfelt celebration that we announce the passing of Frank Costantino Jr., who departed this world peacefully at his home on May 17, 2026. Born on January 2, 1931, in Clariton, Pennsylvania, Frank lived a life marked by dedication, love, and a deep commitment to those around him. At the age of 95, he leaves behind a legacy that will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Frank was the beloved son of the late Frank Costantino and Katherine Costantino (nee Merk). He was predeceased by his cherished wife of 62 years, Beverly (Rodger’s) Costantino, his son Craig Costantino, as well as his siblings Theresa (Costantino) Saunders, Delores (Costantino) Bryan, and Ralph Costantino. He now joins them in eternal rest, leaving behind a family that will forever hold him in their hearts.
Frank’s surviving family includes his devoted children Chris (Jill) Costantino, Sharon Costantino (Fiancé Pedro Diaz), and Kathy Costantino, who carry forward the love and lessons imparted by their father. He was the proud grandfather to Courtney (Mark) Craig, Meghan (Matt) Bortnick, and 2nd Lt Lucas P. Costantino, USMC, as well as a great-grandfather to Westyn Craig. Each of them inherits a legacy of kindness, intelligence, and unwavering support.
In 1952, Frank married the love of his life, Beverly Rodger’s, beginning a partnership that would last over six decades. Together, they created a life filled with love, laughter, and countless memories. Frank was a man of deep faith and integrity, known for his kind and giving heart. His family fondly remembers the swing set he built for his niece and the pantry he constructed for his wife and daughter, acts of love that exemplified his selflessness and generosity.
Frank’s journey through life was one of continuous learning and growth. He attended LCCC to pursue an Engineering Degree and served his country with honor in the United States Navy, completing the US Naval School Engineering Class A. As a Process Engineer at BF Goodrich/Geon/Polyone, Frank’s expertise took him across the globe to places like India, Mexico, and Venezuela, where his efforts in process improvement were deeply valued. He retired after 32 years of service, leaving behind a trail of gratitude and respect from those he worked with. Even in retirement, his passion for sharing knowledge continued as he worked as a consultant for an additional year.
Frank’s intellectual curiosity extended beyond his professional life. He was an expert at crossword puzzles and word scrambles, and later in life, began running with his son Chris. Among his proudest achievements were completing several Revco 6K races and participating in both the New York and Chicago Marathons. His children often sought his guidance, benefiting from his intelligence and sound advice.
A man deeply involved in his community, Frank volunteered with Junior Achievement, sharing his skills and wisdom with the younger generation. His life was a testament to the power of kindness and the importance of lending a helping hand.
As we say goodbye to Frank, we find comfort in knowing that he is now at peace, reunited with his beloved Beverly. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to a charity of choice, a gesture that honors Frank’s spirit of giving.
We extend our gratitude to all who knew and loved Frank. May his memory be a blessing, and may God bless all who were touched by his life. Heaven has indeed received a very special angel.
