Frank Alexander Rutledge, born June 6, 1971, in the vibrant city of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away suddenly at his home on June 10, 2026, at the age of 55. As we gather to celebrate the remarkable life he led, we reflect on the warmth, kindness, and generosity that Frank shared with everyone around him. Frank was the cherished son of the late Shirley Ann Rutledge, and he now joins his beloved mother, grandmother Juanita Rutledge, uncle Rudolph Rutledge, and aunt Katie Mae Smith in eternal peace. His spirit and legacy will continue to be cherished by those he leaves behind. He is survived by his longtime partner, Emily Phillips, whose unwavering companionship and love were constants in Frank's life. His legacy lives on through his two devoted daughters, Summer Jackson of West Memphis, Arkansas, and Shanon Jackson, married to LaDarius Macklin, of Marion, Arkansas. Frank took immense pride in being a grandfather to three adoring grandchildren: Peyton Macklin, Jaxson Jackson, and Paige Jackson, whose lives he enriched with love and joy. Frank's family also includes his uncle Ira Gene Rutledge and six close cousins: Tavish Rutledge, Dewayne Smith (Deborah), Doyle Smith (Deborah), Delvonta’s Smith (Danielle), Derik Smith, and Darlene Westbrook (Greg). He leaves a wide circle of extended family, including LaDarious Macklin, Jasmine Macklin, Jimmy Willams, Jimmy Robinson, Anthony Wright, Willie Adkins, and Justin Robinson, along with a host of cherished friends and cousins who will miss him dearly. In his professional life, Frank dedicated himself to his work with the City of Arkansas, where he was known not only for his diligence but also for his ever-present warm smile and genuine willingness to help others. His colleagues remember him as a man who brought a sense of camaraderie and kindness to the workplace. Outside of work, Frank had a passion for cars, cooking, and most importantly, spending quality time with his family. His love for these hobbies was only surpassed by his love for those he held dear. Frank's home was always filled with the smells of his culinary creations and the laughter of family gatherings, serving as a testament to his nurturing spirit. A memorial service to honor Frank's life will be held on June 20, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Eternal Light Funeral Services, located at 1103 3rd St. in Earle, Arkansas, 72331. Family and friends are invited to join in remembrance and celebration of a life well-lived. The family of Frank Rutledge wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.
