Upon graduation, Frank served as a devoted officer in the U.S. Navy from 1953 to 1974, earning commendations for his outstanding leadership and as a skilled pilot. In 1953, Frank married the love of his life, Edna M. Daubert, on a beautiful June day in Annapolis, Maryland. A man of diverse interests, Frank was an avid golfer, a passion that followed him around the world wherever he was stationed. He enjoyed playing college football and track, and his love for the water was evident in the many years he spent on his beloved boat, the Yenroda6, teaching his children how to ski. His engineering skills shone through in the design and construction of two custom homes, as well as his talent for renovating and woodworking. In his later years, Frank found joy in puzzles, Sudoku, and word games, and he never missed his morning ritual of reading the daily missile.
