Francis DARLINE Farrar

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Francis Darline Farrar on September 9, 2026. Darline, as she was affectionately known, was born on August 20, 1954, in Corsicana, Texas, to Gordon and Betta Bland. Her life was a testament to unwavering faith and boundless love, which she shared with everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Darline was predeceased by her beloved husband, Marron Farrar, her sister, June DeChaume, and her parents. She is survived by her loving children, daughter Glory and her husband Jason, and son Shane Farrar. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren, including Haylie Claire, and many great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her nephew Will, and Paula Steinmann, who were like family to her. At the tender age of 15, Darline married the love of her life, Marron Farrar. Together, they created a warm and welcoming home, raising two wonderful children and nurturing many others who were drawn to their kindness and generosity. A graduate of Corsicana High School, Darline was known for her strong work ethic. She spent many years as a bakery manager for H-E-B, where her dedication and leadership were admired by all who worked with her. Beyond her career, she was an active member of Harmony Christian Ministry, finding joy in serving others and living her life with the love of Jesus as her guide. Darline embraced life with enthusiasm and a sense of adventure. She delighted in playing bingo, embarking on thrift shopping escapades, dressing up, and spending quality time with her family. Her warmth and willingness to help others were her defining characteristics, leaving a lasting impact on countless lives. A celebration of Darline’s life will be held on September 18, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Harmony Christian Ministry. The family invites those who knew and loved her to join in remembering a life well-lived. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Darline’s memory. Her family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Baylor Scott and White Hospital and Pastor Tony for their unwavering support and compassion. Darline will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched. Her unwavering faith, selfless love, and joyful spirit will forever be remembered.
