Frances passed away peacefully on May 16, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 88 years old. Born on August 12, 1937, in the beautiful County Cork, Ireland, Frances was the beloved daughter of Frances Moore and Richard King Lee. From a young age, Frances displayed a vibrant spirit and a love for music that would become the soundtrack of her life. Her voice, much like her heart, was full of warmth and comfort, bringing joy to those fortunate enough to hear her sing. In her youth, Frances crossed paths with the love of her life, Roy Touchstone. They married on a sunny July 8th in 1955, embarking on a journey of love and companionship that spanned decades. Together, they built a family filled with laughter and love, though Frances endured the unimaginable sorrow of outliving her children, Jay, Gary, Roy, Marilyn, and Cindy. Despite these profound losses, Frances's resilience and grace were unwavering. She found immense joy in her role as a grandmother to 14 grandchildren and a great-grandmother to 15 great-grandchildren. Her home was a sanctuary of love, where the laughter of children was a testament to her enduring legacy. Frances's career as a singer allowed her to share her gift with the world, but it was in the everyday moments where her true essence shone. Whether she was watching "Young and the Restless" or cheering on her favorite wrestlers, Frances lived with a passion that inspired those around her. Her home was always open, her presence always comforting, and her heart always full. Frances was a woman of extraordinary kindness, whose warmth made everyone feel at home. Her gentle spirit and comforting presence will be deeply missed, but the love she shared will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. In accordance with her wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Frances's life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a cancer research organization of your choice, in hopes of finding a cure that Frances so bravely fought for. As we say goodbye to Frances Lee, let us celebrate the life of a remarkable woman who lived with grace, loved without measure, and left an indelible mark on this world.
