Born in the quaint town of Goundtown, New Jersey, on January 16, 1963, Florine embraced each day with grace, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to know her. Florine was the cherished daughter of Dorothy and Leroy Jones, who instilled in her values of kindness, perseverance, and the importance of family—a legacy she has carried forward with elegance and devotion. She was a beacon of love and fortitude, remembered for the strength she brought into the lives of those around her. A proud graduate of Bridgeton High School in the class of 1977, Florine pursued higher education with determination, earning her associate’s degree in accounting from Rowan University in 1986. Her career was characterized by hard work and integrity, serving as a testament to her dedication and unwavering commitment to excellence. Florine's life was a tapestry woven with simple joys and heartfelt passions. She found immense pleasure in baking homemade desserts, each treat made with love and shared generously with family and friends. Her love for gospel music was a source of comfort and inspiration, as she often filled her home with its uplifting melodies. In her garden, Florine found peace and contentment, tending to her plants with the same care and devotion she bestowed upon her loved ones. She was the proud grandmother to five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy and pride. Florine's gentle spirit and nurturing heart were ever-present in the lives of her family, who will forever cherish the warm memories of her love and laughter. A private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Florine's life, in accordance with her wishes and the family's desire for an intimate farewell. In a special message, Florine's family expresses their heartfelt gratitude for the kindness and support extended to them during this time. They lovingly remember her for her gentle spirit, her unwavering dedication to family, and the quiet strength and kindness she shared with everyone who knew her.
