In Loving Memory

Florine "Angie" Miller
December 19, 1964 — August 30, 2026
Florine "Angie" Miller, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on August 30, 2026. Born on December 19, 1964, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Angie was the cherished daughter of Edward Walker Sr. and the late Florine Miller.
Angie spent her formative years in Philadelphia, where she was educated in the Philadelphia School system and graduated from West Philadelphia High School. Her professional journey led her to Villanova University, where she dedicated her talents and hard work from 1998 until her retirement in 2010.
A devoted member of Enon Baptist Church, Angie found great joy in spreading God's word and inviting others into the warm embrace of her church community. Her faith was a guiding force in her life, and she shared her love for the Lord with everyone she met. Our mom's Love for God was at the heart of who she was. Her Faith carried her through life, and she always held on to God's promises, even through the hardest moments. She Loved her family and friends deeply, and some of her happiest moments were the simple ones spent together--laughing, talking, going out to eat, shopping, and making memories that we will treasure forever. She had a way of making the people around her feel loved, welcomed, and cared for. To us, she wasn't just our mom; she was our comfort, our strength, and a special part of what made our family feel like home. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her love will remain in our hearts forever. We will carry her memory with us, hold tightly to the lessons and love she gave us, and find peace knowing that Mom is now in the presence of the God she loved so dearly, resting peacefully until we meet again.
Angie had an infectious spirit and was truly the life of the party. Her love for dancing and having a good time was only surpassed by the love she held for her family. She was a gentle soul, whose kindness and warmth enveloped all those around her. Her smile could light up a room, and her singing brought joy to many.
Angie's greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She cherished every moment dining out with them, creating memories that will forever be treasured. As a loving mother to Andre, Sade, Dontae, Shanae, Kwame, and Davontae, and a doting grandmother to Bre'onna, Jahmere, Dontae, Kameron, Jaquil, Aaliyah, Dievon, and Willow, she leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. Her family was her pride and joy, and she took immense pleasure in watching her grandchildren grow up.
In addition to her father, Edward Walker Sr, Angie is survived by her siblings, Yvette, Cecil, Karen, and Eddie, who will forever hold her in their hearts.
While we mourn the loss of Angie, we also celebrate the wonderful life she lived. Her spirit will continue to inspire and guide her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests donations to a charity of your choice in Angie's memory.
