Flora Ann McLouth

On October 22, 2026, we said goodbye to our beloved Flora, who passed away peacefully at home in the presence of her cherished husband, Don (Buster), her daughters Daisy and Lisa, and her grandson Kingston. Born on May 7, 1957, in Adrian, Michigan, Flora lived a life filled with love, laughter, and a deep devotion to her family. Flora was predeceased by her daughter Jenycee Sterling-Meyers, her brother Frank Shaw, and her mother Nina Easler. Her spirit lives on through her devoted husband, Donald (Buster) McLouth, her daughters Daisy Karkruff, Lisa Trone, Danielle Dashner, and her stepdaughter Trina Cole. Flora was a proud grandmother to seven beautiful grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart. Flora shared a special bond with her siblings, Tim Shaw, Rex Shaw, and Deb Shaw, who added to the warmth and richness of her family life. She found joy in the simple pleasures of family connections, cherishing the moments she could FaceTime her daughters and grandchildren, often tracking their locations with loving care. Flora had a special fondness for playing Skip-Bo with her daughter Jenycee, a testament to her desire to create lasting memories with those she loved. An enthusiast of autumn, Flora eagerly anticipated the return of her favorite television shows each fall. She found great joy in being surrounded by family, and her home was a haven of warmth and togetherness. A Celebration of Life will be held in Flora's honor on October 28, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Somerset Congregational Church, located at 10449 N. Somerset Rd, Somerset, Michigan. As per her wishes, Flora will be cremated, and a small service will be held with close family and friends, followed by a luncheon. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Flora's memory. Your contributions, prayers, and support during this difficult time have been a source of great comfort and strength for the family. As we gather to remember Flora, we are reminded of the words of "An Irish Blessing," which speak to the warmth and love she bestowed upon those around her: *May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back.
