With profound sadness and yet deep gratitude for the life she lived, we announce the peaceful passing of Filomena Salvador, a cherished mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Born on August 11, 1941, in the vibrant town of Tela Atlántida, Honduras, Filomena's life was a testament to resilience, love, and unwavering dedication to her family and community. She left this world on May 2, 2026, at the age of 84, following complications from a long illness. Her spirit remains an enduring presence in the hearts of those who knew her. Filomena was the beloved wife of the late Reinaldo Lourenco Pinto, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and partnership. Together, they built a family grounded in love and unity. Her legacy continues through her children, who were the joy and pride of her life: Mario German Salvador, Suyapa Dice, Dunia Salvador, Blanca Flores, and Julio Salvador. She nurtured them with compassion and wisdom, instilling in them the values she held dear. As a devoted sister, Filomena shared a close bond with her siblings, Irene Rosa Cuevas and Victorino Lopez. She was predeceased by her siblings, Gertrudys Salvador, Alejandrina Cuevas, and Emerito Salvador, whom she lovingly remembered throughout her life. Her family was the cornerstone of her existence, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Filomena's legacy extends to her 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, who were the delight of her latter years. She embraced them with open arms and an open heart, imparting stories from her homeland and life lessons that will guide them for generations. Her loss is deeply felt by all who knew her, but her memory will be a source of comfort and inspiration. Filomena's life was marked by kindness, strength, and an unwavering commitment to her loved ones. Her gentle smile and warm presence will be profoundly missed but never forgotten. A service to honor and celebrate the life of Filomena Salvador will be held on May 7, 2026, at 10:00 PM at Dugan Funeral & Cremation, located at 51 Asper Dr, Shippensburg, PA 17257. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of a remarkable woman who touched the lives of so many. As we say goodbye, we do so with hearts full of love and gratitude for the precious time we shared with her. May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may her legacy of love continue to shine brightly in our lives.
