Fely G. Paguia, a cherished matriarch and beloved friend, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on October 26, 1936, in Guinguinto, Bulacan, Fely's life was a testament to resilience, love, and boundless energy. Fely's journey took her from her birthplace in the Philippines to the vineyards of Earlimart, California, where she worked tirelessly to support her family. Her hardworking nature was complemented by a warm and welcoming spirit, making every family gathering a celebration. She was known for her love of karaoke, mahjong, and dancing—especially the cha cha cha—and these lively activities were a hallmark of her vibrant personality. Fely's life was deeply rooted in her family. She is survived by her children, Julie G. Paguia with spouse, Flor Katsura with spouse, and Obet G. Paguia, Marifé Paguia. Her legacy lives on through her 11 grandchildren, including Cheryll Paguia,Jennifer P. Sardoma, Dave Paguia Derrick Popoy, Clarissa J. Dawson, and Rachel Katsura, as well as her 9 great-grandchildren, including Jasmine M. Popoy, Nyah P. Sardoma, and Kyla P. Sardoma. Each member of her family was touched by her unconditional love and support. Known for her honesty and directness, Fely had a unique ability to encourage and uplift those around her. She believed in the potential of every individual and often reminded her loved ones that they could accomplish anything they set their minds to. Her laughter was infectious, and her joy in cooking and sharing meals created countless cherished memories. After many fulfilling years in the United States, Fely returned to her beloved Guinguinto, Bulacan, where she continued to enjoy the fellowship of friends and family as her family tree grew and flourished. Her return to her roots was a beautiful closing chapter to a life well-lived, surrounded by the love and laughter she cherished most. In accordance with her wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Fely's life. The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory to a charity of your choice. Fely G. Paguia will be remembered as a guiding light, a source of strength, and a beacon of love. Her legacy of kindness and joy will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew her.
