Obituary Felton Wayne Franklin was born on April 2, 1958, in Clinton, Louisiana, to the late Annie Franklin and Edward Hitchen. On August 22, 2026, Felton peacefully entered eternal rest and was welcomed into the loving arms of the Lord. Felton leaves to cherish his memory of his devoted wife, Diane Franklin; five sons, Kentrail (LaTasha) Keller, Felton Franklin Jr., Jerome Collins, Earnest Franklin, and Joshua Franklin; and one daughter, Shanita (Quinton) Angrum Davis. He is also remembered by his first wife, Wanda Franklin. His legacy continues through a host of fifteen grandchildren, six great‑grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other relatives and close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Annie Franklin and Edward Hitchen; seven brothers, Leroy Franklin, Earnest Franklin, Robert Foxx, Nathaniel Hitchen, Edward Hitchen Jr., Claude Hitchen, and Darrell Fox Sr.; and two sisters, Mary Parker and Linda Boyd. Felton’s life was a testament of love, strength, and faith. His gentle spirit, warm heart, and unwavering devotion to family will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him. We rejoice in knowing he is now at peace, resting in God’s eternal care.
