Felix Torres, a cherished soul whose warmth and generous spirit touched countless lives, peacefully departed this world on October 24, 2026, surrounded by the love of his beloved wife, Jacqualine, in West Bend, Wisconsin. Born on October 17, 1949, in Warren, Minnesota, Felix led a life marked by devotion, kindness, and an unwavering love for his family and community. Felix proudly served his country in the United States Army, answering the call of duty shortly after completing high school. This period in the military planted the seeds of resilience and discipline that he carried throughout his life. Upon returning to civilian life, Felix embarked on a career in manufacturing. His dedication and skill led him to a successful career in welding, culminating in his retirement from Cooper Power Systems in 2012. Felix's life was enriched not only by his professional pursuits but also by his hobbies and interests. An avid reader, Felix found solace and joy in the pages of books, which transported him to worlds both familiar and unknown. In retirement, he embraced the tranquility of gardening, nurturing vibrant flowers, and indulged in the thrill of 'games of chance.' His laughter and stories were welcome additions to gatherings, where he was known as the 'go-to guy' for family and friends alike. Felix's kindness and generosity were the hallmarks of his character. He was a staunch supporter of numerous charities, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. His selflessness and commitment to others served as an enduring example for his family and community. Felix is survived by his devoted wife of 48 years, Jacqualine, who was his eternal soul mate and confidante. He leaves behind a loving legacy through his daughter, Sara Jean, and his grandchildren, Lukas and Angelina, who brought immeasurable joy to his life. Also cherishing his memory are his siblings Maria, Emma, Alfred, and Sandra; sister-in-law Sally; son-in-law and partner in crime, Duane; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members. A celebration of Felix's life will take place on November 14, 2026, at 3:00 PM at the VFW Post 9510 located at 131 Stark Street, Randolph, WI. The family invites all who knew and loved Felix to join in honoring his life and legacy.
