Felipe V. Flores, Jr., a beloved father, brother, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home on July 4, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on June 27, 1949, in Seguin, Texas, Felipe was a cherished member of the community whose life was marked by service, dedication, and love. Felipe was the son of the late Felipe and Anita Flores, whose values and lessons he carried throughout his life. He was predeceased by his dear parents but leaves behind a legacy of kindness and resilience. Felipe is survived by his loving children, daughter Stephanie Flores and son Felipe Flores, III, who will continue to honor his memory. He was also a devoted grandfather to three grandchildren, who were the light of his life. Growing up in Seguin, Texas, Felipe graduated from Seguin High School in 1967, a milestone that marked the beginning of his pursuit of knowledge and service. He furthered his education by earning a bachelor's degree from St. Phillips College. His commitment to serving others extended beyond his education, as he proudly served in the National Guard, embodying the spirit of dedication and patriotism. Felipe spent the majority of his professional life working for the Seguin Community Counsel, where he dedicated himself to improving the lives of those in his community. His work was not just a career but a calling, and his impact was felt by many who were fortunate enough to know him. Felipe was also a cherished brother to his sisters, Hope, Dolores, and Mary. Their bond was unbreakable, and his sisters were a steadfast support system throughout his life. The love and memories they shared will forever hold a special place in their hearts. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to The Circle of Life Hospice from San Antonio for their genuine care and support during Felipe's final days. Their compassion and dedication provided great comfort to Felipe and his family.
