Felicia was born on May 26, 1988, in Clifton Forge, Virginia, a town she would cherish throughout her life. Felicia was the cherished daughter of the late William "Doc" Downey Jr. and Robin Lee Downey, who predeceased her. She is survived by her loving sisters, Ashlee Griffith and Caressa Jennings, and her brother, Brady Rapp. Felicia's memory will also be held dear by her numerous nephews and nieces, who will forever remember her as a beacon of joy and love. A proud alumna of Alleghany High School, Felicia carried her vibrant spirit and zest for life beyond her education into every aspect of her life. She was a woman whose beautiful smile could brighten the entire universe, a testament to her inner light and warmth that touched all who had the privilege of knowing her. Felicia was a lover of the outdoors, finding peace and happiness in nature's embrace. She found joy in swimming, spending evenings around campfires, and casting a line while fishing. Her adventurous spirit led her to the mountains, where she delighted in the simple pleasure of a ride through serene trails. These passions reflected her deep appreciation for the beauty and tranquility of the natural world. Her kindness, laughter, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by family and friends, who are grateful for the time spent with her and the precious memories they hold dear. Felicia's legacy is one of love, joy, and an unwavering spirit that will continue to inspire those she leaves behind. A service to celebrate Felicia's life will be held on May 7, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Nicely's Funeral Home.
